It has been a wonderful and long season despite the injury. Here's some interesting season stats - I attended 15 races with a 53% participation rate, which brought us to 8 wonderful countries around the world in just 8 months, while the on-water training was expanded to 9 months of the year (which is really long considering our climate).

I'm learning to become an athlete who sees the positive side to all outcomes. The performance can be a roller coaster and you need to have the patience to ride the ups and downs. If I compare my state of mind now and a year ago, it varies drastically. I'm now so many times happier of a 6th place finish than I was at some races standing on the highest spot on podium. I did some small mistakes, including the second start, but I'm still really happy. I love racing in these rough waters, and at the end of the day that place is just a number on your trophey. Enjoying every minute out there because I finally can!
